Zhejiang Normal University was founded in 1956, specializing in teacher education with multiple branches of learning. The university consists of 25 colleges covering 69 undergraduate programs with an enrollment of about 30,000 undergraduates, over 10,000 graduate students and over 3,000 overseas students.
The main campus is located in the northern suburb of Jinhua City in the center of Zhejiang Province, about 400 kilometers southwest of Shanghai (two and a half hours by high-speed train). Jinhua is one of the major cities in the province, which is an important communication hub with highways and railways linking to all parts of the province as well as to the other parts of the country.
Zhejiang Normal University covers an area of over 2 square kilometers. The campus, cloaked in green, is an ideal place for living, study and work. Near the campus are numerous shops and restaurants and in the downtown are large supermarkets and stores.

Required Qualifications
Doctoral Degree
Annual Salary Rate:
Doctoral Degree (Type A)：188,000 RMB before tax (including an annual air ticket allowance of 8,000 RMB); Comprehensive health insurance coverage for applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or foreign countries provided by ZJNU.
Doctoral Degree (Type B)：158,000 RMB before tax (including an annual air ticket allowance of 8,000 RMB); Comprehensive health insurance coverage for applicants from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan or foreign countries provided by ZJNU.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Minimum teaching duty per semester: 80 sessions of classroom instruction, 40 minutes per session; other tasks for research or scholarly activity or other non-instructional duties equivalent to allotted teaching load;
2) Publication of 1-2 academic paper(s) per year; Detail requirements are as follows:
Doctoral Degree (Type A)：
First author (responsible for the main undertaking/presiding of research work) or first corresponding author of research projects
Humanities subjects: minimum cumulative score -- 200 (with at least one assessment item of 100 credits and above.)
Doctoral Degree (Type B)：
First author (responsible for the main undertaking/presiding of research work) or first corresponding author of research projects
Humanities subjects: minimum cumulative score -- 100 (with at least one assessment item of 50 credits and above.)
Assessment system:
Calculation of credits follows the policy of ZJNU, e.g. One paper on SSCI Q2 is equivalent to 200 credits, SSCI Q3, 100 credits, and SSCI Q4, 50 credits.
3) Other tasks for supporting departmental development.
